yellow painting on nettle, later used as material for a tentlike figure

Mars paintings in the studio, later used as the images for the stickers

The only access to reality on Mars is currently offered in space photograpy.
The equipment is programmed to take pictures in as many directions as possible.
So there's no need really for the human hand on the shutter release with its subjective
ideas. Studying the Nature of Mars means to watch these images made by programmed
machines. Does the conception of reality depend on the order in which media gets in
touch with it? What role do physical experiences play in the process of depiction?
This initial situation has been the occasion for Line to apply the concept of appropriation
to painting. In this transformation process the relationship between these images and
their appropriation is observed.
Welche Rolle spielen körperliche Erfahrungen beim Abbilden?
In
Aneignung beobachtet.
